performance_SHOPPINGCHÃO
Inspired by one of Rio de Janeiro's largest street markets, known as shoppingchão, this performance presents a collection of negotiable "objects". The exchange begins with a conversation in which I offer to exchange items, the exchange could be for a memory, for an action or for another object.
This performance talks about the memory of objects linked to places and people. It is also how the memory of an object can bring spaces, stories and reach us in different ways. Finally, how many meanings an object can have, what memory a thing can bring.
ShoppingChão offers the movement of objects as a way of exchanging memories and spaces
